Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library

The Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library, also known as Rota Public Library, was officially open to the public on June 29, 2012.

According to PL 2-50(HB 233), the Rota Public Library was named  in honor after Rota Mayor Antonio C. Atalig.  Located in the village of Songsong on the island of Rota, 1st Senatorial district, the Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library serves a population of 2,527 people on Rota according to the 2010 Census.

The Rota Public Library is a rural and small-sized  public library that includes computer workstations, internet connectivity, home work help, reference assistance, and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council’s Motheread/Fatheread Family Literacy Program.
