Joeten-Kiyu Public Library Announces Teen Summer Reading Program July 16-July 24, 2024

[Saipan, MP] The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library(JKPL) is excited to announce its 2024 Teen Summer Reading Program, themed “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” The in-person program will run Tuesday to Friday, July 16th to July 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library.

This year’s program is open to the first 35 participants ages 13 years old and older on a first registered, first served basis. We will offer a variety of exciting and engaging activities for teens, including:

  • Reading Challenges: Teens can earn prizes by reading a certain number of books and level up.
  • Daily Adventures: The library will host a different event, such as book discussions and writing competitions on a daily basis.
  • Crafts and Activities: Teens can participate in fun crafts and activities related to the program’s theme.
  • Most Books Read Prize
  • Exciting Prizes: Books, gift certificates, eco-bags, library swag, school supplies, and so much more!
  • Snacks and Lunch for Teens provided for free.

“We are thrilled to host the Teen Summer Reading Program,” said Library Director Erlinda C. Naputi. “We hope that this program will continue to encourage teens to explore new books, make new friends, and have a great summer.”

HOW CAN YOU HELP? Because of our limited budget, we humbly ask our community for help. We appreciate any donation you care to make.
